The second could be made post wedding, with photos of the wedding guests and the happy couple printed on fabric pieced in the blank blocks, or applique the photos on after the big day.

Very nice.

Some minor changes, still nice.
I have to admit that pretty much every day I add more designs to whatever project file I open … I keep wondering what it would look like if I change a block, swap some colours, and after just a few minutes I might have added five or more designs to the file.

Very pretty!

When I first played with these blocks I thought I could use pretty but common flower shapes, now I am thinking that I should try some different shapes … and maybe not just flowers!

It may be spring time in Australia, but my advice for any brides planning to get married in the near future is to have some winter woolies to keep you warm, or plan all activities for the day to be indoors with central heating.

At least there are some hardy spring flowers adding colour to the garden, though the weeds are trying to keep them out of view.

I like the first one of today’s designs.

I love the second design.
I have started a new project file with beaded wedding rings … well, so far I have drawn a heap of blocks … one of several project files waiting for some attention in the new year, including having some time in the limelight on this blog.

Pretty, but the centre would need either more applique or lots of spectacular quilting.

Bit better, but could use more something in the centre.
